Noa Garfinkel is a writer and editor for Psych News. She is majoring in both psychology and studio art and is interested in the intersection between the two. She hopes to combine both interests by pursuing a degree in art therapy and exploring the capacity of creative work to help people.

While she enjoys editing in almost any form, having previous experience in her high school’s art and literature magazine, she also indulges in reading books, watching documentaries, and playing video games in her free time.

Batya is an editor for Psych News. She majors in psychology with a focus on developmental processes, and minors in English. She enjoys reading about new developments in the psychological field and participating in research studies. In her free time she enjoys watching romantic films, dreaming up creative art projects and exploring New York City.

Safia is a blogger and editor with Psych News and a clinical psychology major at Hunter College. She is interested in coping mechanisms, health disparities, and transnational feminism. She hopes to contribute to the promotion of mental and socioemotional wellness among underserved populations.

Dina is an editor for Psych News. She majors in psychology and minors in Hebrew. She enjoys psychology research and hopes to pursue a career in neuropsychology. She enjoys learning about environmental studies and philosophy, and in her free time swims and explores the Metropolitan Museum of Art with friends.

Tyshaun Brown-Todd is a writer for Psych News and is currently a senior majoring in Psychology. He is passionate about neuroscience and statistics and his research interests include how people with neurodevelopmental orders learn and function compared to people without neurodevelopmental disorders.

Valentina Conetta is a writer for Psych News. She is currently majoring in psychology with a minor in journalism as a freshman at Hunter College. She is passionate about closing the gap between the two fields of study and being able to use information from psychological studies to further improve her understanding of the world for a future in journalism.

Joany is a writer and psychology major at Hunter. She also minors in German. She is specifically interested in working with children in any capacity. Her interests include mental health, child development, educational psychology, language acquisition in children, and more. She aspires to be a mental health counselor.

Patrycja is a writer/editor with Psych News and a developmental psychology major at Hunter College. She loves to write on issues about child development, often being inspired by her toddler brother. She plans on applying to School Psychology graduate programs for Fall 2024.

Eleni is an editor for Psych News who’s had the chance to work with some excellent students! She is graduating in the fall with a major in human biology, with hopes to apply to medical school in the near future. She enjoys going to zumba and late nights out with friends.
